Jo's Boys Customer Reviews
:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from tacylynn -- Content changed : I love this book, however, this version of the book reads as if someone spoke the book, then forgot to proofread it. I can hardly read it for all the typos and random words that are in a sentence. The following is the second sentence, and the first is just as bad. Very disappointed. - 1.0 out of 5 stars from Melissa Larkin -- Do not buy this version. It is not original; it is unintelligible. : Sentence from the original Jo's Boys: "A pretty little lass she was, with curly dark hair, bright eyes, and a very expressive face. ( Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2021 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from SM -- Fantastic, unabridged paperbacks! : Wonderful collection! I had read "Little Women" when I was younger and I really enjoyed it, but never got the chance to read "Jo's Boys", or "Little Men". These paperback 150th Anniversary Editions by Sea Wolf are unabridged, which I love! Reading "Little Women" again, and can't wait to continue the story with the following two books! - 5.0 out of 5 stars from Deb Sorensen -- Louisa May Alcott Homerun, Again! : Like "Little Women" , Alcott has hit a homerun. Read "Little Women" first and get an update on the boys in "Jo's Boys." Or you can read this as an enjoyable stand alone. ( Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2021 )
- 2.0 out of 5 stars from sue jacobson -- very small print : I'm sure the book is similar to the original, but the print is EXTREMELY small. I was pleased that my granddaughter had read Little Women, and wanted the sequels. However, I'm not sure she will read them due to the appearance of being difficult. - 3.0 out of 5 stars from M. A. Fassinger -- Not What I Expected : Loved Little Women so much, but Jo's Boys was really hard to follow. I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite. ( Reviewed in the United States on August 30, 2018 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from roebuck -- Timeless classic : Pleased to have completed the quartet of 'Little Women' books at long last - now 74! Although today's young readers may find the writing old-fashioned, the morals remain the same and it is probably best read slightly later in life. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 4, 2019 )
- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Amy Littleford -- A Brilliant End to a Brilliant Series! : Jo's Boys was such a perfect end to the Little Women series. I have learnt so much through the beautiful words of this author. She truly inspires me. Jo March was a great character to follow through the series and into old age.
